A Marietta Square Elopement

Brittani and Matt met through mutual friends. They often ran into each other at friendly activities, such as bowling and billiards. The two hit it off and started dating! They enjoy spending time together, especially hiking and watching movies. They also both LOVE animals, so much so that they both work for a kennel.

When I first met Brittani and Matt, they struck me as a very sweet and loving couple. Their commitment to one another was 100% apparent, as was their commitment to those they care about, including their dog, Ellie.

The two planned to have a small ceremony at the local Marietta Courthouse, take a few photos outside afterwards, and then head to a small reception at a local restaurant.

However, on my last pre-wedding conversation with Brittani I found out that one of their family members rented the gazebo in Marietta Square and paid for the Judge to come out to them as a gift to the couple. Beyond sweet! You know that you have a truly genuine and remarkable couple when others are willing to go above and beyond for them. So on a cold but beautiful day in March, the two exchanged vows in Marietta Square in front of their closest friends and relatives.

Matt & Brittany: Thank you for the honor of photographing this memorable time in your lives. I hope that, 50 years from now, you can look back on these photos and remember the love for one another that you have today. I hope you enjoy this peek of your day!
